Janata Samajwadi Party, Nepal's president and parliamentary party leader Upendra Yadav has submitted a letter withdrawing his support to the government to Speaker Devraj Ghimire. Yadav has also informed the parliament about staying in the opposition as he withdrew his support to the government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Yadav sent a letter to Speaker Ghimire on Monday. It is said in the letter, 'The government is supported by the Janata Samajwadi Party, Nepal, and has participated in the government. Now, since the support given to the government has been withdrawn and it has left the government, there is a request for information on whether it will sit in the opposition in the parliament and play its constructive role.'
Jaspa, Nepal has withdrawn its support from the government formed according to Article 76 (2) of the Constitution. After breaking away from the party led by Yadav, 7 MPs formed the Janata Samajwadi Party under the leadership of Ashok Rai.
