Speaking at the ceremony organized on Saturday to inaugurate the newly constructed ward office building of Lalitpur's Mahalakshmi Municipality-10, Speaker Ghimire said that the movement for political change has been completed and now everyone should work together to achieve prosperity through tourism promotion .
The speaker said that if the people's representatives and political parties have the will power, the development of every area will be possible. 'The basis of prosperity is tourism, the place that was most despised yesterday is now becoming attractive, Ganeshman Park and Manmohan Park have been built here. . In the summer, they come to this cold place and enjoy the beauty,' said Speaker Ghimire.
Speaker Ghimire expected the inaugurated building to be a qualitative achievement in facilitating the daily services of the people. Prosperity will be achieved only with the efforts and perseverance of the local people, he said, and expressed his commitment to help from his area. He said that the construction of the ward office building will provide services to the people quickly and conveniently, and it has helped for the effectiveness of federalism.
Prem Bahadur Maharjan, a member of the House of Representatives, said that the road leading from Gwarko to Panauti will be upgraded and made easier and he will be active in the development of tourism here. He said that he will play a role as a federal parliamentarian to create tourist areas like Nagarkot and Dhulikhel.
Member of Parliament Maharjan urged to start achieving prosperity by marketing the local products and pledged to support them as much as possible. He emphasized that everyone should join hands in industrial, cultural and tourism development of Mahalakshmi area. Health Minister of Bagmati Province, Rameshwar Shrestha, said that during his first tenure, when he was the mayor, he had set an action plan to make a clean, tidy, prosperous and beautiful municipality.
Minister Shrestha informed that 68 acts and laws were enacted during his tenure and said that the municipal building could not be constructed due to various technical reasons . He promised to be active for the prosperity of Mahalakshmi municipality in every way from the state level.
