The Ashok Rai-led 'JSPA', formed by splitting from the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, has finalized the names of party officials and members of the central committee. The JSPA will have the same organizational structure as that of Nepal. After the division on Sunday, 30 members of the Central Committee submitted an application to the Election Commission.
Rajendra Shrestha will be the chairman of the federal council of the party, while Ashok Rai will be the central chairman. The practice of Jaspa Nepal, where the central president is involved in the executive role of the party, is also practiced in this party. Renu Yadav will be the co-president of the party and 4 vice-presidents will be. Navalkishore Saha Sudi, Randhwaj Limbu, Parashuram Basnet and Sushila Shrestha will be the vice president. Mohammad Istiaq Rai will be the general secretary, Pradeep Yadav will be the deputy general secretary, Deepak Karki and Ranju Thakur will be the secretaries and Birendra Mahato will be the treasurer. The divided party has 7 MPs of the Federal Parliament. Rajeshman Singh, head of Birgunj Metropolitan Municipality, is also in the new party.
