China is going to give free regular visa to Nepali citizens from next May 1. The Chinese Embassy issued a notice on Sunday morning saying that regular visas are free. For Express-2 and Express-1 visas, you will have to pay 2,700 and 4,000 rupees respectively. Similarly, the group will have to pay Rs 1,350 and Rs 2,000 respectively for Express-2 and Express-1 visas.

At the third international investment conference, China International Development Corporation Agency (CIDCA) chief Luo Zhaohui said that effective from May 1, Nepali citizens should pay visa fees on a regular basis.

During the same speech, he also said that China-Nepal relations will reach further heights. China has been continuously supporting the economic and social development of Nepal. It will help more,' he said .  

After the speech of Chief Luo Zhaohui, the Chinese Embassy issued a notice and informed about the new policy on visa fees. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chun Song has also posted this information on X.
