President Ramchandra Paudel has said that the religious harmony, tolerance and democratic and liberal character of the Nepali society is an exemplary example for the world.

President Paudel said that this is also the spirit of the current constitution in the program held on Wednesday on the occasion of the fifth annual founding day of the Muslim Commission. 'Today I visited Jaleshwar Mahadev, the holy temple of Hindus. Yesterday I went to see Swayambhunath, the holy temple of Buddhists. And today I have come to the Muslim community," said President Paudel. "This example of how tolerant, harmonious and democratic the Nepalese society is is for the world to emulate." He said that protecting this spirit of the constitution is the religion of all Nepalis.

President  Paudel expressed his belief that the goal set by the Federal Democratic Republic will be fulfilled only if all castes, languages, oppressed, minorities and backward classes are uplifted by providing equal opportunities for participation in every body of the state.

He expressed the view that on the basis of proportional inclusiveness, legal arrangements should be made to ensure the political, economic and social rights granted to the Muslim community by the constitution and special policies and programs should be formulated and implemented by the government at all three levels. 'For equal opportunities for the participation of the Nepali Muslim community in the field of providing services of all levels and agencies  I think that it is necessary to make appropriate policy and legal efforts,' he said.

Nepal's constitution is one of the best constitutions in the world and it provides equal rights and rights for all castes, languages, religions, communities, classes and regions, he appealed to everyone for its practical implementation.
