Police have opened fire to arrest a drug dealer in Sankhu, Kathmandu.
A team from the Narcotics Control Bureau of the police, Koteshwor, has arrested a drug dealer. Two other drug dealers have been arrested along with him, said SSP Krishna Koirala of the bureau.
‘The shooting took place after the police were attacked, two are still absconding,’ he said, ‘A pistol and 3 rounds of bullets have been recovered from the arrested person.’
The person who was shot is a Nepali citizen. The police have not yet revealed his identity.
