Of the 97 police offices in the Kathmandu Valley that were damaged during the protests on Bhadra 10, 7 have still not been restored to their original condition.

Police Circle, New Baneshwor is providing partial services from the old building of the Citizen Investment Fund. Police Circle, Bouddha, Swayambhu, Gaushala and Janasewa are also providing partial services. Currently, only 10 offices are conducting investigations at full capacity.
15 offices under the District Police Complex, Kathmandu are authorized to conduct investigations. ‘The arson and vandalism that occurred after the Gen-G movement have affected the service delivery,’ said SP Bhattarai, ‘Efforts are being made to gradually restore the police to its original condition.’
