Global IME Bank Limited has introduced a service that allows bank accounts to be opened in collaboration with the Nagarik App.
According to a statement issued by the bank, Nepali citizens registered with the Nagarik App can open a personal savings account by scanning the QR code available on the bank's website through the app, based on their national identity card.
The bank claims that this service has made it even easier for the general public to open a bank account.
Under this, citizens aged 18 or above who have obtained a national identity card and are registered with the Nagarik App will be able to open an account at Global IME Bank online.
