A strategic term sheet has been signed between Digo Group and Gham Power to develop a solar-powered battery energy storage system at the Digo Charge Point in Itahari.
The joint statement said that this collaboration is another important step towards moving Nepal towards a clean, reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure.
‘The partnership will integrate solar energy generation with cutting-edge battery energy storage technology to make electric vehicle charging infrastructure more efficient,’ the statement said.
The aim is to reduce dependence on the power grid during times of high electricity demand and increase the use of clean energy.
