Jagdamba Motors, the official distributor of Proton vehicles, has opened bookings for the much-awaited electric SUV Proton e.Mas 5. The company has also launched the ‘Guess and Book the All New e.Mas 5 at Your Price’ scheme ahead of the official launch of the vehicle.

According to the company, under the scheme, customers will be able to estimate the potential market price of the e.Mas 5 and ‘lock’ the price through the website provided by the company. Customers who estimate the price that matches or is closest to the official launch price will have the opportunity to purchase the vehicle at the price they estimate.

The company has stated that the estimated price range for the ‘e.Mas 5 Prime’ variant is Rs 29,99,000 to Rs 34,99,000 and for the ‘Premium’ variant is Rs 34,99,000 to Rs 39,99,000. Five winners will be selected from each variant through a lucky draw among the participants in the scheme.

The company has also started the formal booking of the E.Mas 5, setting a booking amount of one lakh rupees. Customers can make the booking by paying the amount through bank or online and submitting the necessary details through the website or the company's sales consultant.

The company claims that the E.Mas 5, developed in collaboration with Proton and Geely, recently won the 'Electric Compact Vehicle of the Year 2026' award in Malaysia. The company has stated that it will be the first rear-wheel-drive electric compact SUV of its class in Nepal.

The company has expressed confidence that the E.Mas 5 will become a strong option in the compact electric SUV segment as the electric vehicle market in Nepal expands.
