Electric vehicle brand Foton has launched new service centers in five locations across the country. The company has set up ‘Photon Total Care Shield Service Points’ in Bhaluwang, Baglung, Lalbandi, Chapur and Lahan.
According to the company, with the launch of the new service center, Foton’s after-sales service network has reached more than 21 locations across the country. The company claims that this will allow customers to easily get electric vehicle repairs, technical testing, warranty support and other after-sales services from their own area.
The company has stated that the new service center is equipped with diagnostic equipment, trained EV technicians and genuine spare parts required for electric vehicles. According to Foton, the new service center was launched with the aim of expanding after-sales service beyond Kathmandu and other major urban areas as the use of electric commercial vehicles is increasing in Nepal.
The company says that this is expected to reduce the need to travel long distances for vehicle repairs and also save operating costs and time. The company has been operating the 'Photon Total Care' program with the aim of providing regular maintenance, preventive testing and fast service.
The company has informed that the new Shield Service Points will also operate as official service centers under the same program. MAW Vriddhi Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Photon's electric commercial vehicles in Nepal, has stated that it will continue to expand its service network in the coming days.
