A strategic agreement has been reached between The British College and the Computer Association of Nepal Federation (CAN Federation) for the 'Startup World Cup Nepal Chapter 2026'.

The agreement was signed by Rajan Kandel, Group CEO of The Kandel Group and The British College, and Chiranjeevi Adhikari, Acting President of CAN Federation and Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of One Cover Pvt. Ltd.

It has been stated that this partnership is expected to further strengthen the foundation of information technology and digital entrepreneurship in Nepal.

“In recent years, the wave of digital transformation and technological innovation has been advancing rapidly in Nepal,” the joint statement issued by both organizations said, “A historic initiative has begun to connect young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas to a global platform and to build a strong startup ecosystem in Nepal.”

According to the agreement, CAN Federation will serve as the ‘Strategic Organizing Partner’ of this prestigious global competition.

During the partnership, the leaders of both organizations emphasized the importance of startup culture and a digital foundation for Nepal’s economic prosperity.
