Citizens Bank International Limited has provided Braille educational materials to visually impaired students studying at Nepal National Secondary School, located in Basgadhi Municipality–5, Bardiya.
Established in 2045 BS, the community school has 1,200 students enrolled, among whom 20 visually impaired students have been studying with the help of Braille materials, according to a statement issued by the bank.
The bank stated that it provided its support in view of the difficulties faced in teaching and learning due to the lack of necessary Braille materials at the school.
The statement also mentioned that the bank distributed Braille paper, A-grade Braille stylus, A-grade Interpoint Braille slate, school bags, computers, and other necessary educational materials to the visually impaired students studying at the school.
