The Society of Consulting Architectural and Engineering Firms Nepal, in collaboration with the Construction Business Development Implementation Committee and the Federation of Nepal Construction Entrepreneurs, has launched a four-day training course on urban road planning and management.
The training is aimed at enhancing the professional capacity of stakeholders (employers, consultants and construction professionals) in Nepal's consulting and construction sector and related government departments and ministries.
The first day of the program on Wednesday was graced by the Chief Guest, Hon'ble Minister of Tourism, Forest and Environment of the Koshi Province Government, Bhim Parajuli. Special guests on the occasion were Padma Bahadur Shahi, Chairman of Nepal Engineering Council, Jagarnath Shah, Chairman of Nepal Engineers Association, Koshi Province, Dharmendra Singh, Director of Purbanchal University School of Engineering, and Janasewak Bhandari, Chairman of Nepal Construction Entrepreneurs Federation, Koshi Province.
The training has witnessed significant participation from participants from various organizations and professional backgrounds. Representatives from provincial and local government offices, officials from federal government agencies such as the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction and the Department of Roads, and representatives from executive offices of various municipalities are participating in it.
