A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Nepal Medicity Hospital with the aim of providing subsidized health services to the chamber's office bearers, employees, district chamber members and their direct dependent families.
At the agreement signing ceremony held at the Chamber building in Jamal, Health Committee Coordinator Mrigendra Mehar Shrestha and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Amit Tomar signed the agreement on behalf of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Nepal Medicity Hospital.
According to the agreement, which will be effective for one year, Nepal Chamber of Commerce and its executive committee members, employees, district chamber members and their direct dependents (spouse, parents and two children under the age of 22) will receive special health services and various concessions when they receive treatment at Nepal Medicity.
According to the agreement, Nepal Medicity will provide a 10 percent discount on hospital admission and outpatient services. However, the discount will not be applicable on medicines, consumables, implants, package services and external tests.
The chamber's press release states that the discount facility will not be applicable even in cases where direct cashless services are received through insurance.
