IME Life Insurance Company Limited has provided financial assistance of Rs. 500,000 to Fellowship Society Nepal as part of its corporate social responsibility.

The insurance company said in a statement that the assistance will provide essential educational materials including Braille paper, slates and styluses, computers and screen reader software to visually impaired students studying in various schools across the country.

Students of three schools in Lolang, Kathmandu, Dang and Surkhet will benefit from the assistance of IME Life Insurance.

The company's assistance is expected to ensure easy access to education for visually impaired children studying in the schools, the statement said.

Believing that inclusive education and equal opportunities are important foundations for social development, the company has given priority to such social programs.

Providing necessary educational materials to visually impaired students is expected to have a positive impact on their academic achievement and confidence.
