Students of Deerwalk College have been conducting the ‘DearHack’ program since Friday. The organizing student committee has stated that students from various faculties, developers, designers and new entrepreneurs will participate in the program that will run until Sunday.

The press release mentions that ‘Forest Protector’ and ‘RezNet’ are important among the projects developed in the previous editions. ‘Forest Protector’ has developed a system to identify the sound of heavy equipment used in deforestation and provide information to the concerned agencies, while ‘RezNet’ aims to help early-stage entrepreneurs develop and refine their business concepts.

Students from different districts of Nepal and India are also participating in this year’s edition. The program will include hack sessions, guidance from industry experts, workshops and project demonstrations.
