Himalayan Bank Limited has launched the Union Pay RMB Card.

The bank and China's famous card brand UnionPay have launched the card service for the first time in Nepal to make travel to China easier and more convenient for their local customers, the bank said in a statement. The bank stated that by using the

card, customers and service recipients can easily pay for transactions in Chinese currency through ATMs, POS, QR codes and e-commerce platforms in China while visiting the northern neighboring country, making it economical and universally accepted compared to other devices available in the market.
