Hospital has honored 4 nurses of the hospital with the Daisy Award on the occasion of International Nurses Day. The recipients of the
award are nurses Samjhana Tamang, Neelima Shrestha, Anjali Gole and Ronisha Pandey. They have been presented with awards and certificates. The
Hospital had opened the nomination process for the selection of outstanding nurses some time ago. In which patients and relatives of patients, fellow nurses, doctors and other employees were allowed to nominate the nurses they considered the best. The hospital has also honored 6 other people who were among the top 10 among the nominees. Among the top 10 are nurses Srijana Dhami, Srijana Dhaulakoti, Usha Panta, Sadiksha Bhattarai, Varsha Mainali and Ruksana Rai Maharjan.
The hospital also honored 21 nursing and paramedical staff who have been working continuously at Norvic for more than 10 years on the occasion of International Nurses Day.
The hospital also honored 2 students from Norvic College of Health Sciences and Technologies who achieved excellent results at the same ceremony. The honorees include nursing college toppers Dika Basnet and Maunata Pokharel.
Meanwhile, the hospital has announced the establishment of an integrated cancer treatment institute. The proposed institute aims to provide cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and rehabilitation services from a single location.
