Nepal Medicity Hospital has organized a ‘CHIME’ meeting. Health information technology experts from 15 private and government hospitals across the country participated in the program.
With this, Nepal has officially become a co-member of ‘CHIME India Chapter’. Now, the leaders of Nepal’s health information technology sector will be connected to the global digital health network, Medicity has said.
‘CHIME’ is a global non-profit organization that has been working on the development of digital health leadership and health information technology. Sudhakar Rai, Chief Digital and Information Officer of Medicity and member of the CHIME India Chapter, said that this is important for the health sector in Nepal.
‘CHIME Nepal Community’ has also been formed in the program. Through this, members will get information and opportunities related to digital health, cybersecurity, telehealth, leadership development and international certification programs, the statement said.
