Carlsberg Group has committed to investing Rs 10 billion in Nepal. Stating that Nepal is a strategically prioritized market, the company has emphasized sustainable development, strengthening local production and expanding long-term partnerships.

Carlsberg Group has further strengthened its focus on water resource conservation in Nepal. Through its partnership with WWF Denmark, the company has emphasized sustainable water management. Since water is a very important resource for the brewing industry, the company has stated that it has taken forward work on groundwater recharge and wetland restoration along with efficient use of water. The company says that these efforts are being carried out as part of a strategic plan to ensure long-term environmental sustainability.
