PhonePe Payment Services Limited (PhonePe) has reappointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Divas Kumar for a further four-year term.
This strengthens the continuity of the organizational leadership, the company said in a statement. “Divas Kumar, who has been leading PhonePe since 2021, brings over 20 years of experience in banking technology, electronic payment infrastructure and fintech leadership,” the statement said.
He was a member of PhonePe’s early team as Chief Technology Officer, where he made significant contributions to building the company’s technology foundation. Since taking over as CEO in 2021, PhonePe has undergone its most significant growth phase under Kumar’s leadership, the statement said.
