The ‘Koshi Excellence Award 2026’ to be organized by Nayan Media Foundation is scheduled to be held on Chaitra 7 (March 21).
The Koshi Excellence Award is being organized with the aim of introducing the tourism, trade and socio-cultural identity of Koshi Province to the world. The program will be organized at Soaltee Westend in Itahari from 3 pm on March 21.
The organizers claim that the Koshi Excellence Award will be held in a more grand and attractive manner this time. It is stated that all guests who register to participate in the program will be provided with a special membership card of the ‘Soaltee Heritage Club’ by the organizer’s hospitality partner Soaltee Westend Hotel. The organizer has stated that arrangements have been made to provide up to 10 percent discount on various services and facilities of the hotel through this membership card.
According to Madhav Subedi, Chief Executive Director of Nayan Media Foundation, this collaboration with the hotel has been made to make the program more participant-friendly, organized and attractive. He expressed his belief that the partnership with Soaltee Westend will make the award ceremony more effective and memorable. The organizers have stated that the
award ceremony will award individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions in 16 different categories. Awards will be given to individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions in the fields of Agriculture and Farming Innovation, Banking and Financial Services, Corporate Business Leadership, Education and Academic Excellence, Health and Medical Care, Literature and Arts and Writing, Media and Journalism, Social Work, Sports, Startup Innovation, Technology, Tourism and Hospitality, Automobile, Music and Capital Market. Awards will be given in 16 categories at the
program. This award has been launched with the aim of recognizing and honoring individuals and organizations that have made leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, social responsibility and long-term contributions in Koshi Province. It is stated that individuals and organizations from Koshi Province who have made special contributions through various organizations will also be specially honored in the program.
The organizers have set a goal to make the second edition more effective and message-oriented by continuing the dignity and trust established by the first edition held last year. Foundation Chairman Pawan Adhikari informed that almost 80 percent of the preparations for the program have been completed.
