Applications open for FuseMachines AI Fellowship 2026

The company has stated that participants will be provided with AI-related skills through the company's 'microdegree' program, under a curriculum prepared by professors from American universities and experts in the field of AI.

Applications open for FuseMachines AI Fellowship 2026

With the aim of producing skilled manpower in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science, Fusemachines Inc. has opened applications for the ‘Fusemachines AI Fellowship 2026’ (Nepal Cohort). This is the ninth edition of this program, which has been run by Fusemachines, an AI technology service provider listed on the American Stock Exchange ‘Nasdaq’, the statement said.

The fellowship, which will run for a total of 6 months, will provide a variety of practical exercises along with knowledge of advanced AI and data science, the statement said. The program is open to IT students, professionals with a background in programming, mathematics, computer science or software development, or anyone interested in AI. 

Sameer Maskey, CEO of FuseMachines, said that the program is being run as a continuation of the commitment to providing excellent AI education beyond geographical boundaries. More than 1,200 fellows from 12 countries have been trained through the fellowship, which has been running since 2017.

Parag Shrestha, Head of Strategy and Managing Director for South Asia, said that the fellowship is aimed at building a strong AI ecosystem in Nepal by bridging the gap between local talent and international opportunities. The program covers topics such as generative AI, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, prompt engineering and MLOPS.
