Metrolabs, a fully digital reference diagnostic laboratory, has come into operation on the fourth floor of BK Complex in Baneshwor, Kathmandu. The laboratory was inaugurated by Paras Khadka, former captain of the national cricket team and brand ambassador of Metrolabs.
Metrolabs is based on a cutting-edge digital diagnostic ecosystem powered by its own mobile app ‘My Health Now’. Through this app, service recipients will be able to book various health tests, receive smart and accurate digital reports, maintain a lifetime digital diagnostic record, manage the health profile of the entire family and make secure online payments.
Prioritizing the convenience and accessibility of service recipients, Metrolabs has also been providing free home sample collection services, which, Metrolabs has stated, eliminates the need to visit the laboratory frequently and ensures continuous and convenient health services. Metrolabs claims to be Nepal’s first reference laboratory and uses a fully automated Total Lab Automation Robotic System.
Our priority is to provide quality, accurate and timely diagnostic services, said Shankar Devkota, Managing Director of Metrolabs. "Through My Health Now, we have made the service completely customer-centric, from test booking to home sample collection, smart digital reports and lifetime diagnostic records," he said, adding, "Metrolabs is committed to building trust in the healthcare sector through technology, accuracy and reliable service." He also said that the first phase of this project has an investment of Rs 100 million.
