The initiative aims to provide accurate information on cancer, dispel common misconceptions, and spread awareness about the importance of timely testing, prevention, and medical consultation.
The bank has stated that the collaboration with Medanta The Medicity Hospital in India has made the program more effective and credible.
A webinar on ‘Things Women Should Know and Practice Regarding Breast Cancer’ was organized for all female employees under the program. The webinar was facilitated by Dr. Kanchan Kaur, Senior Director, Breast Cancer, Medanta Hospital. A total of 513 female employees actively participated in the program organized on Magh 13, due to which the program was interactive and effective, the bank has stated.
On Magh 14, 2082, a session on ‘Prostate Cancer: Myths and Reality’ was conducted for male employees aged 30 years and above. The session was facilitated by Dr. Puneet Ahulwalia, Senior Director, Medanta Hospital. 509 employees actively participated in this session.
The bank expects that both the webinars will make employees aware of their health and contribute to long-term health security. The bank has committed to conducting similar awareness programs for employees, customers and other stakeholders in the coming days.
