Litmus Industries Limited has officially launched a skills improvement program for electricians.
The special skill-based program, based on the company's slogan of Education, Efficiency and Safety, is initially being conducted in Kathmandu and is planned to be expanded nationwide in the near future. The skill improvement program has been specially designed for electricians who use Litmus products. It reflects the company's responsibility and contribution to its customers.
Through this initiative, Litmus aims to further strengthen technical skills and promote safe electrical practices across the country. The twenty-day training program will focus on both theoretical and practical aspects.
It includes industrial electrical wiring and installation, motor control systems, earthing, lightning protection, generator systems and other essential hands-on skills.
The main objective of the program is to ensure safe wiring and quality electricity by enhancing the skills of electricians. This training is being conducted in collaboration with Balaju School of Engineering and Technology, affiliated to CTEVT, Litmus said. This is said to ensure structured, industry-related and standardised technical education.
The formal launch of the program was done through a signing ceremony between Sakshi Gupta, Director, Litmus Industries Limited and Sushil Kumar Shrestha, Principal, Balaju School of Engineering and Technology.
This initiative is not just about training but also our responsibility towards the society and the customers, said Sakshi Gupta, Director, Litmus Industries. 'Litmus has always stood by its customers and will continue to stand by them,' she said, 'We will promote safe wiring practices and quality electrical installation through this program related to education and skill development. We are proud to expand this training, which started in Kathmandu, across the country.'
Sushil Kumar Shrestha, Principal, Balaju School, said that he was very happy to collaborate with a reputable company like Litmus Industries on this important initiative. 'This program will have a positive impact on the society by enhancing the skills, professional competence and safety awareness of electricians,' he said.
