Japanese technology giant Sharp has launched its first premium front load washer, the 'Pro-Wash VIP 2026' series, in the Nepali market.
Sharp is committed to bringing cutting-edge technology based on Japanese quality, durability and hygiene to Nepali households. The company says that the Sharp Pro-Wash VIP series has been introduced as an appropriate solution as the demand for smart, clean and durable household appliances is increasing in the Nepali market. The
washer includes features such as Auto Tub Clean, Brushless Inverter DC Motor, 15-minute Quick Wash, Diamond Inner Tub. Introducing the product, Sharp Singapore Managing Director Wu Keat Chiu said that this is not only the beginning of new technology for Nepal but also a symbol of commitment to orienting households of today and future generations towards a comfortable lifestyle. The company says that the Auto Tub Clean technology in the
washer automatically cleans the detergent residue and dirt accumulated inside the machine after each wash cycle through high-speed rotation. It is claimed that this ensures that every wash is clean and germ-free.
Keeping in mind the busy lifestyle, a 15-minute quick wash feature has been provided, which provides quick washing of lightly soiled or urgently needed clothes. In addition, this washer, which uses a BLDC motor, is said to provide 20 percent more efficiency, less noise, and powerful washing. The 1400 rpm spin speed is said to help dry clothes faster.
A 'giant ribbed wave tub' and a 'diamond inner tub' have been used to protect clothes, which the company claims will provide a hand-wash experience and help remove even deep stains while protecting the fabric fibers. The company has stated that it will be available in three capacities of 8 kg, 9 kg, and 10 kg from January 2026 at authorized dealers in Nepal.
