Malaisha Acharya has emerged as the winner of the 'Face of SY 2082 (Brand Ambassador Hunt)' competition organized by SY Entertainment. The organizers have stated that a total prize money of more than Rs 20 million was distributed in the grand finale held on Friday.
The competition organized to promote the brands of SY Panel, SY Cosmetic, SY Bazaar and SY UPVC is Nepal's first big brand ambassador hunt. SY Panel Nepal Director Bimalraj Gosai said that the prize money of this competition is more than the Miss Nepal competition in Nepal.
Three main brand ambassadors were selected in the program. The title winner Malaisha Acharya has been awarded a cash prize of five lakh rupees and a one-year contract worth one crore rupees.
First runner-up Sara Lama and second runner-up Api Yonjan were selected. They will be given four lakh and three lakh rupees along with cash prizes and contracts worth five lakh and three lakh rupees respectively. The remaining seven best candidates have been given one and a half lakh rupees as popularity award. The competition was conducted in phases. In the first phase, participants had to make a video on the SY theme and participate in a digital audition. The top 500 candidates were advanced to the second phase. After the second round, the top 25 people were invited to participate in the final audition. In the final round, the participants were evaluated by social media and judges.
Both men and women were allowed to participate in the competition. Participants were required to follow SY Bazaar and SY Cosmetic on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok and prepare a creative video.
The organizer, SY Group of Companies, is a South Korean-based multinational company. Under this company, companies including SY Panel Nepal, SY Bazaar, and SY Enterprises operate in Nepal.
