Rameshwor Prasad Basyal has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Siddhartha Bank Limited.

Basyal, who has 36 years of experience in the banking sector, has been appointed as the CEO by the bank's board of directors.

Basyal, who has worked in various departments of Nabil Bank, has been associated with Siddhartha Bank Limited since 2005 and has been playing a leadership role as Manager, Senior Manager, Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Assistant Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer, the bank said in a statement.

The bank has stated that he has made special contributions, especially in the areas of market management, credit investment and risk management.

The bank is confident that the bank will further strengthen sustainable growth, customer service excellence and institutional strengthening under the leadership of Basyal, who believes that banking should be done with institutional good governance at the center.
