Maxi Kathmandu, the first hotel in Nepal to reimagine the traditional hotel experience, has launched a new Latin American restaurant, 'La Hacienda', from Saturday.
Inspired by a modern Mexican hacienda, this restaurant brings a contemporary Latin American cuisine and cocktail experience to Kathmandu.
La Hacienda restaurant will serve traditional flavors of Mexican, Peruvian, and other Latin American countries. The outlet has been launched at the four-star Hotel Maxi Kathmandu, which was launched on Durbar Marg a few weeks ago.
According to tourism entrepreneur Shashikant Agrawal, the construction of this hotel, which was invested at around Rs 1.8 billion, was completed in three years. The hotel has 101 modern rooms. Its total area is 40 annas. Maxi Kathmandu is the third hotel in the Agrawal family. Previously, they operated in Kathmandu at Marriott Kathmandu (Naxal) and Fairfield Marriott (Thamel).
