The five-star luxury resort 'Royal Tulip Chitwan' in Sauraha has appointed Krishna Prasad Timalsina as its General Manager. Royal Tulip, operated by KTM Hospitality Limited, has appointed Timalsina as its General Manager from Thursday.

The company claims that this is the first time an international brand hotel, which has been in commercial operation since last October, has appointed a Nepali GM.

Timalsina has 30 years of experience in leadership positions in prestigious international chain hotels and resorts in Nepal and China. The company has stated that he has worked in high positions in various international hotel chains, including Pokhara's Mountain Glory.

Hospitality Limited Chairman Rameshwor Shah said, 'Maximum use of indigenous products was made during the construction of the hotel. Similarly, Timalsina, who has gained international experience, has been appointed in accordance with the policy of using indigenous manpower.'

He said that most of the manpower in the hotel, which was opened in Chitwan in collaboration with France's Louvre Hotels Group, is Nepali. He said that the technical manpower was hired in coordination and consultation with the brand.

Spread over an area of ​​more than four acres, this resort, located on the banks of Chitwan National Park, has 65 attractively designed accommodations. The company has stated that special bridge villas, water villas and loft suites will provide enchanting views and luxurious facilities.
