Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Dr. Madan Pariyar stressed the need to create a motivating environment for all stakeholders to expand the agricultural sector. He highlighted that the agricultural sector can only develop solidly if policies and plans are formulated that prioritize credit guarantees, financial literacy, agricultural insurance, coordination in the value chain, and collaboration with cooperatives and the private sector to expand agricultural investment and strengthen the quality of credit.
Secretary of the Ministry Dr. Rajendra Prasad Mishra said that the state itself has previously made efforts to develop a value chain for the development of the agricultural sector. At the program, banking expert Ajay Shrestha gave a presentation on the challenges and opportunities of agricultural enterprise investment in Nepal.
Perhaps the first such program organized in banking has succeeded in drawing a roadmap for the future by bringing all stakeholders in the agricultural sector together on one platform. The bank has stated that this program has been established as a milestone. Muktinath Bank has expressed its commitment to continuously contribute to financial inclusion and strengthening agricultural enterprises for the prosperity of rural areas in the coming days.
