Nepal Telecom is going to provide WiFi 6 routers (CPE) and APs (Access Points). Under the WiFi 6 package, FTTH with a minimum capacity of 100 Mbps will be distributed.
Telecom has announced that it will provide WiFi 6 routers and APs to improve the quality of the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) technology that it is currently distributing.
Telecom was currently providing WiFi 5 technology CPE. The company claims that using new technology devices will solve the problem of insufficient WiFi signal in various places and increase the speed of the internet. ‘It will play an important role in connecting more devices, allowing everyone to use the internet at full speed, speeding up data transfer, increasing the battery life of the device, and providing secure and reliable internet services,’ the statement said.
WiFi 6 individual packages and premium packages will be available in this. Under the individual package, one can choose one of the packages from 1. Internet and telephone package, 2. Internet, basic NTTV and telephone package, and 3. Internet, premium NTTV and telephone package.
Similarly, under the premium package, 1. Premium Internet Package Only, 2. You can choose one of the following packages: Premium Internet and Basic NTTV Package and 3. Premium Internet and Premium NTTV. All these packages will have 100, 150 and 200 Mbps capacity and will also provide data on mobile.
