Islington College has concluded a two-day convocation ceremony at The Plaza in Lalitpur, congratulating its undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Two students have received international scholarships worth more than Rs 15 million at a ceremony held on December 15 and 16.

Students from the BSc (Hons) Computing, Computer Networking and IT Security, Multimedia Technology, BA (Hons) Business Administration, International Business Management, Digital Business Management, Advertising and Marketing and Events and Tourism Management programmes were conferred at the graduation ceremony. Students from the MSc IT, MBA and Applied Security programmes participated at the postgraduate level.

On the occasion of the ceremony, Islington College continued its annual scholarship and honours programme that has been awarded to outstanding students. This year, the prestigious scholarships of the International Student House and London Metropolitan University were awarded to Anush Nepal and Angana Bhattarai, according to the college. The scholarship, worth more than Rs 15 million, includes tuition fees, accommodation expenses and two-way air tickets. 

Similarly, Innovate Nepal Group Postgraduate Scholarships have been awarded to AMS Ghimire and Ayesha Nakarmi. They will continue their postgraduate studies in colleges under Innovate Nepal Group and will also get the opportunity to work in the group's organization. 

Students who achieved excellent results in various disciplines were honored at the ceremony. Ashutosh Rajbhandari was honored for MBA, AMS Ghimire for BSc (Hons) Computer Networking and IT Security, Sahas Shakya for Multimedia Technology, Kshitij Shrestha for Computing, Prashidika Tiwari for Final Year Project, Prashidika Tiwari and Prathana Rajkarnikar for Artificial Intelligence and Mobile Application Development, Anush Nepal for BA (Hons) Business Administration, and Pratiksha Gurung for Accounting and Finance. 

Islington College, which has been running undergraduate and postgraduate programs in information technology, business administration and related fields for more than 25 years, has stated that it has been emphasizing the production of globally competitive human resources through collaboration with international universities.
