Siddhartha Bank Limited has launched the Siddhartha PhonePe Credit Card in partnership with PhonePe Payment Services Limited.
The bank claims that it has ushered in a new era of fully digital, secure and easy credit access for customers.
The card was unveiled by Rameshwor Prasad Basyal, Deputy CEO of Siddhartha Bank, at the grand unground launch of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), which provided significant visibility to one of the country’s biggest sporting events, the bank said in a statement.
Siddhartha Bank has now become one of the leading financial institutions in Nepal to offer the first and only fully virtual credit card through its own mobile banking app, the statement said.
‘The Siddhartha PhonePe Credit Card provides users with the convenience of making fast, secure and contactless payments at 1.8 million PhonePe QR merchants across the country, without the need for any physical card,’ the statement said.

Special launch for new users by Siddhartha Bank and PhonePe The bank has announced that 50 percent cashback (maximum Rs. 7,500) will be provided as an offer.
