As electric vehicles (EVs) from various companies are entering the country, the internationally established brand 'Proton Emas-7' SUV has started selling from Biratnagar. Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Shankar Group, has officially started selling by opening a showroom with state-of-the-art 3S (Sales, Service, Spare Parts) facilities in Biratnagar, the main business center of Koshi Province.

A new showroom has been inaugurated northeast of Kanchanbari Chowk in Biratnagar. The company has stated that the presence of NADA Koshi President Dilliram Acharya, former President Subash Acharya, Jagdamba Motors Senior Vice President Raju Chhetri Bhetwal and local automobile entrepreneurs was notable at the event.

At the inauguration ceremony, Senior Vice President Bhetwal expressed his happiness at being able to expand services from here as Biratnagar has always been a market that has been at the forefront of innovation and development.  According to him, the company is committed to building an 'electric mobility ecosystem' in Koshi Province by providing excellent service, modern technology and reasonable prices to customers through the new 3S showroom. 

The company has reiterated that skilled technicians, reliable service facilities and availability of spare parts will be its main priorities. Proton Emas is also claimed to provide clean, smart and sustainable vehicle solutions. The Proton Emas-7, available in 6 color variants, has been brought to Nepal in two models. 

According to business head Akash Thapa, the premium variant is priced at Rs 6.799 million and the prime variant is priced at Rs 5.699 million. It is said that this EV from Malaysian brand Proton, which is invested by Geely Group, has been continuously successful in the global market.
