Himalayan Distillery's 'Shlok Himalayan Premium Whisky' has been launched. The company has stated that the new premium whiskey is now available in major stores in Kathmandu.
According to the company, whiskey is a symbol of excellent craftsmanship. Matured in Quercus alba wooden barrels, the whiskey has a balanced blend of honey, vanilla, caramel and smoky flavors and aromas.
The company said that the development of the liquor used in Shlok took about five years and more than 400 samples were tested. It is currently available in three sizes - 750 ml, 180 ml and 90 ml. Its price is Rs 2,860, Rs 715 and Rs 360 respectively.
