ISPAN has stated that this international award recognizes ISPAN's efforts in strengthening digital security and cybersecurity in Nepal. The association claims that in recent years, it has been conducting various programs with the aim of making the digital infrastructure secure.
Initiatives such as the National Cyber Drill Program, the implementation of Internet Routing Security, the Public-Private Cyber Security Coordination Framework, contributions to the National Cyber Security Policy, and the Online Child Safety and Awareness Campaign conducted by ISPAN have had a significant impact on Nepal's digital security.
South Korea's MarkAnne, Thailand's Bangkok Airways, and Sri Lanka's Financial Sector Ccert were also awarded for their significant contributions to cybersecurity at the conference.
