Ncell and MetLife Nepal have launched a plan called ‘Data with Life Insurance’ in partnership. Under this service, Ncell customers can avail the benefits of insurance by choosing one of two special packages.
Along with data usage, insurance facility is also available. Ncell has stated that the first pack is Rs 99 including tax. This pack, which has a validity of 3 days, offers 100 MB data, term life insurance worth Rs 2 lakh and critical illness insurance worth Rs 2 lakh. This insurance facility is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase of the pack.
The second pack is Rs 39. In this pack, the customer gets 100 MB data for 3 days, term life insurance worth Rs 50,000 and critical illness insurance worth Rs 50,000. This insurance facility is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase of the pack.
'Customers can choose their preferred pack through the Ncell app, fill out a form for insurance and buy one of these two packs,' the statement said, 'These packs can also be bought by dialing *123*4*6#. Term life insurance for customers who have purchased the pack starts immediately upon submission of the form, while critical illness coverage is activated after a 30-day waiting period.'
