Karnali Yaks Sports Pvt. Ltd. has signed a co-sponsorship agreement with Plumber Pipes as a strength partner. The agreement was signed by Karnali Yaks Director Grihendra Ghimire and Plumber Pipes Managing Director Nitin Jalan at a program organized at the Yak & Yeti Hotel in Kathmandu on Sunday.

Jai Bageshwori Roto Molding Industries has brought this company to Nepal since 2071 BS. The agreement is for the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Neeraj Jalan, Director of Plumber Pipes, said that it is a matter of pride to be associated with Karnali Yaks. ‘Plumber Pipes is a famous brand for plumbing systems. Nepal’s leading plumbing brand Plumber Pipes has joined hands with Karnali Yaks as a sponsor,’ said Jalan, Director of the company, ‘It is a matter of pride to be associated with our country’s major sports competition, NPL, and Karnali Yaks. Apart from this, we hope to contribute to the advancement of sports in our country.’

In the first edition held from Mangsir 15 to Poush 6, Karnali Yaks had made it to the second qualifier.

In the second edition as well, Karnali has continued with Gyanendra Malla as the coach. The team’s consultant coach is Raju Basnet.

Similarly, Karnali has retained Gulshan Jha, Nandan Yadav, Bipin Prasad Sharma, Dipendra Rawat, Arjun Gharti and Younis Singh Thakuri along with marquee Sompal Kami. Pawan Sarraf, Yuvraj Khatri, Imran Sheikh and Deepak Dumre were signed from the auction.

Earlier, Karnali Yaks have signed Scottish spinner Mark Robert James Watt and Australian William Bosisto as foreign players.

Karnali Yaks have already signed an agreement with Yak & Yeti as hospitality partner and Nebico as co-sponsor.
