The fourth edition of Nepal Electric Power and Lights and Nepal Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances International Exhibition has started. Industry, Commerce and Supply Minister Damodar Bhandari inaugurated the exhibition at Bhrikutimandap on Friday.
In the exhibition with more than 100 stalls of domestic and foreign companies, high-quality modern and latest technology transmission and distribution materials, power supply and control devices, house wiring materials, wires, cables and conductors, switches, LED lighting, electronic equipment, household electrical appliances, charging stations, batteries, electrical technology used in the office and other electrical materials are kept for viewing.
Media Space Solutions, Futurex Trade Fair and Events and Exhibition and Trade Services India jointly organized the exhibition, supporting organizations are Nepal Electricity Authority and Nepal Solar Power Producers Association.
At the opening ceremony, Minister Bhandari said that there is immense potential in the export of electricity and electrical materials produced in Nepal. He opined that energy and energy-related products have good potential in Nepal as well. The exhibition will be held at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu till August 15.
