In partnership with Ncell Foundation, Icom Nepal and Narayanhiti Durbar Museum, a research journal 'Museum' has been published which covers various aspects of the museum's basic principles, international and national practice and history.
Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey released the journal at a program held at Narayanhiti Durbar Museum. Mentioning that the publication of a journal mentioning the various dimensions of Nepal's museums is an excellent effort, he praised the participation of the private sector in the preservation and promotion of culture.
Currently, Minister Pandey informed that the government is working at the policy level regarding the registration, standards and management of museums. He says that Nepal's museums and the materials kept there have increased the pride of Nepali people. Art and culture are our identity, it is the duty of all of us to protect it. We are happy to be able to do this important program under Public Private Partnership in collaboration with ICOM Nepal to promote culture and heritage,” Ncell said.
