Thapa, who has a long experience in the field of digital payments including PhonePay in Nepal, will take over the leadership of Visa. He has also previously worked in India and UK. According to the company, Thapa will work on strategies to expand local partnerships, promote financial inclusion and facilitate digital transactions.
