Jagdamba Motors, the official distributor of Proton EV for Nepal, has established a showroom in Pokhara for the first time outside of Kathmandu. In order to speed up the use of electric vehicles (EVs) across the country, Proton has launched its third showroom at Buddha Chowk in Pokhara from Monday.

Proton's flagship electric vehicle Proton SUV Emas 7 is for sale in Sorum. This is the third sorum in Kathmandu after Naxal and Thapathali. On this occasion, Proton has also facilitated test drive registration, personal consultation, easy finance and government subsidy options for potential customers.

Jagdamba Motors has established a third service center in Pokhara, ensuring world-class service to customers, to make the after-sales support more reliable.

On the occasion of the inauguration, customers were informed about the key features of Proton EMAS 7, its smart technology and commitment to sustainable transportation. Jagdamba Motors has announced a zero percent interest rate for customers on the purchase of Proton Emas 7 until the first week of showroom opening in Pokhara.  The

Proton's third showroom in Pokhara showroom was inaugurated by Dipendra Koirala, President of Western Automobile Dealers Association (WADA). He welcomed Proton to Pokhara saying that Pokhara is the second home of automobiles. Informing that the first Wada Auto was successfully completed in Pokhara, he said that preparations for the second edition were underway. 

Senior Vice President of Jagdamba Motors, Raju Vetwal, said that the showroom established in Pokhara will be an important part of Proton's broader plan to establish a nationwide electric vehicle network by 2025. "We wanted to run a dealer in Pokhara, but considering the current market situation, we created a structure ourselves," he said.

Akash Vikram Thapa, Assistant General Manager of Jagdamba Motors, said that he established the showroom by giving importance to the Pokhara market. "We believe that it will help in the promotion of tourism and environmental protection here," he said, "We have succeeded in winning hearts in Kathmandu, we will succeed in Pokhara too." Jagdamba Motors officially launched EMAS 7 in the Nepali market from last March. Akhil Gupta, Executive Director of Jagdamba Motors, Proton Nepal launched EMAS 7 in Pokhara. "We are proud to bring Proton to Pokhara, a city full of natural beauty and modern thinking," he said. This is just the beginning.

The price of Proton Emass 7, available in two variants namely Prime and Premium, has been set at Rs 56 lakh 99 thousand and Rs 67 lakh 99 thousand respectively. This EV is available in 6 different color options namely Platinum Silver, Turquoise Green, Slate Grey, Quartz Rose and Lithium White.
