In the 'League of Creators' competition organized by Ncell in collaboration with Uptrendy, Aman Maharjan from Lalitpur has won a one-year brand deal worth Rs. He won the first place in the competition and received the said deal as a reward.
Prabha Shrestha from Kathmandu, who is known as madamwazel creator, won the second place in the competition and won a brand deal worth 5 lakh rupees, while Manish Ruchel from Baglung came third and won a brand deal prize worth 250,000 rupees. Prashant Pandey of Butwal secured the fourth position as an uptrending pick Won a brand deal of 1 lakh rupees .
Prizes were awarded to the winning creators at the grand finale event held in Kathmandu. Ncell has organized this competition with the aim of empowering digital storytellers across the country.
'I am fully confident that the brand deal with Ncell will give the awardees great motivation to further enhance their content creation,' said Umer Mohsin, Chief Commercial Officer of Ncell. Five mentors Sanjog Koirala, Pratima Adhikari, Mr. Foodie Nepal, Parakram Rana and Ekta Tandukar selected the best 50 creators from among the videos received to participate in the
competition. They were provided with special training and mentorship through 5 mentors in groups of 10/10. The participants received training on content planning, creative process, messaging, strategies to present themselves to the brand.
The first prize winner was from Maharjan Pratima Adhikari's team and the second winner was from Shrestha Sanjog Koirala team. Likewise, the third winner Ruchel and the fourth winner Pandey were from the Mr. Foodie Nepal team. The jury chose the best four creators in the finale from among the creators who managed to make it to the top 50.
