By merging IME Pay and Khalti, an integrated transaction has been launched from Thursday under the name 'Khalti by IME'. These two digital wallet service providers, who have created their own identity for almost a decade, have merged with each other and started providing services through a new integrated system.
IME Pay is known for its services like remittance, indrive as the only digital wallet that pays interest, while Khalti has been popular especially among the young generation due to its innovations like movie booking, event ticketing and more. The merger of both the wallets is expected to present the best features in a more sophisticated, convenient, simple and secure manner.
The facility to migrate to the new system 'Khalti by IME' has been provided for the old IME Pay users. According to the company, all the details including the amount, interest, reward points in the user's wallet will be transferred to the new app.
Khalti users can use the new integrated service by updating the Khalti app. According to the company, there are currently more than 7 million authorized users on Pocket and more than 5.7 million authorized users on IME Pay, according to which a total of 12.7 million users will now be included in one app.
