Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), a state-of-the-art test for detecting lung problems, has been launched at Norvik International Hospital.

Under this, a tube is inserted into the lungs, followed by an ultrasound and a biopsy. Through this, the presence of tuberculosis and cancer in the lungs is detected.
The hospital says that the stage of lung cancer can also be detected by 'ebus'. Earlier, this type of test was available only in government level Veer Hospital and BP Koirala Memorial Hospital in Dharan, the hospital claims that Narvik has started it for the first time in the private sector.
"Now it has become easier to detect lung problems," said Dr. Acharya said, 'There will be no need to run to India for this.' Acharya said.
