Master Chef Santosh Sah has started 'Janakpur Fish House' in Naxal, Kathmandu. Santosh, who is also a BBC Master Safe, has started more business from Tuesday.
"I am promoting Terai food inside Nepal and overall Nepali food outside Nepal, this is my love for my food," he said during the opening of Fish House.
In 'Janakpur Fish House' started in Mithila Thali premises of Naxal, he said that the taste of Janakpur can be fully cooked in the fish dishes. 'We have tried to bring the style and taste of fish cooking properly, it will wipe them out of Janakpure fish,' he said .
Saif Santosh has been supported by his brother Saif Dileep in this work. Dileep, who introduced Santosh to the hospitality sector, has three and a half decades of experience working in the hospitality sector in Nepal, India and Central America.
Chef Dilip says, 'Just as there is a tradition of eating sekua in kilos in Kathmandu, this restaurant has been opened with the aim of serving only fish. It is our effort to bring the taste and experience of eating fish here, as is the tradition of eating fish in Janakpur. It will also help the tradition of eating 'white meat' as a health restraint.'
Lately, Seif Sah has been organizing a pop-up show of his Nepali Raithane recipes, from America to Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, the original dishes of various communities and castes of Nepal, in which Sah cooks about one and a half dozen dishes . This pop-up show of his is now in demand in different countries of the world.
In the country, Sah is working on the promotion of Mithila Thali. A year after opening 'Mithila Thali' in Janakpur, Sah, who started the 'Mithila Thali' restaurant in Jhamsikhel, Latilpur last year with the aim of serving Mithila dishes to the people of Kathmandu, has since expanded the outlet to Naxal and Gaushala.
