Bagbazar-based Kathmandu Model Secondary School (KMC) has announced special scholarships to 25 students on the occasion of its 25th Foundation Day. The school has celebrated this year as the Silver Jubilee year with various programs.
Rameshwar Aryal, chairman of the school management and board of directors, announced the scholarship in the meeting and reunion program organized in the presence of 400 former students who have passed class 11 and 12 from KMC and are studying medicine in various medical colleges of Kathmandu.
President Aryal has announced a special scholarship for 25 meritorious students under the 'Silver Jubilee Scholarship' program on the historic occasion of 25 years of establishment. Under this scholarship, the selected students have to pay only 25 thousand rupees as an annual fee, which is said to be very concessional.
President Aryal expressed his commitment to develop the school as a worthy educational institution for future generations, informing that special priority will be given in admission if the former students enroll their siblings in the school.
The school's examination coordinator DD Adhikari conducted the program and the former students who participated said that they were able to succeed because of the education of discipline, hard work and hard work given by the school .
